Q. How do I register for Dhaka Lit Fest?
A: Go to register.dhakalitfest.com and follow the directions.
Q. Do I have to print out my ticket?
A: No, let’s save trees. As long as the QR code is visible, we can scan on electronic devices like a mobile phone or tablet.
Q. How do I become a DLF volunteer?
A: Send your CV to email@example.com with “I’d like to volunteer!” in the subject line
Q. How can I participate as a speaker at DLF?
A: Email firstname.lastname@example.org and tell us about your work. Do keep in mind that there is a great deal of interest to participate in Dhaka Lit Fest, and that we may not be able to accommodate all requests. The programme for 2017 is now finalized, but please email us to be part of future editions of the festival.
Q. How do I find the venue?
A: The festival is held on the grounds of Bangla Academy, on the Dhaka University campus. You can get directions from Google Maps here: https://goo.gl/maps/PCEFXQo7Dq22
Q. I haven’t registered, can I come to the festival?
A: Please register, it’s easy and only takes a minute! You can register right up until 7.30 a.m. on the day of the festival. If you still haven’t registered by then, you can do so at the registration booth outside Bangla Academy, which will remain open until entry closes.
Q. I’ve registered, but have not received my e-ticket. What do I do?
A: First thing, check your spam. If the ticket isn’t there, try clicking ‘Resend ticket’ at the bottom of the registration page, and enter your phone number. If this does not work, try registering again with an alternate email address. If you still have problems, email email@example.com with the subject “I’m having problems registering!”
Q. How do I register my child for DLF?
A: Children below 18 years of age may be registered under their parents’ email address and phone number.
Q. How do I see the programme schedule?
A: The programme schedule will be made available on the DLF website on Nov 10, and will be viewable at Programme page
Q. How will I know about changes to the programme?
A: With 90 events over three days, there are prone to be a few last-minute adjustments to the schedule. Changes to the programme before the festival starts will be updated on dhakalitfest.com. Any changes during the festival will be put up at various points around the festival grounds.
Q.I’m a member of the Press. How do I get press accreditation to cover the festival?
A: If you present your press ID card at the Welcome Booth at the festival gates, you will be provided a press pass. Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your details if you’d like to preregister, or for any other information.
